ENUM is used to unite PSTN and IP (VoIP) based telephone networks. Most of the inter carrier calls are currently done as PSTN switched calls, eventhough the end customers are on VoIP. ENUM provides solutions using DNS where a TN can be resolved to VoIP entities like SIP, H323 etc, so a carrier can do IP signalling to complete the call path.

This seems to be a smart move from Riya to give a different dimension to their niche visual search engine. Iam very much impressed with this concept.
