Mobile Services Architecture
JSR 248 and 249 combined together forms the Mobile Services Architecture which enhances CDC and CLDC. It provides the platform for next gen Java based mobile apps.
It has some great features like SIP , WebServices, Payment, Location etc. Some phones have already started offering few of these services. For example, Nokia N90 has JSR 180-SIP.
